At the beginning of the adventure in 2017, it took several months to select the most demanding partners, capable of meeting our quality standards and constant technological innovations.(Read our story here)
Where are the Horus X glasses made?
Horus X glasses
Finding the right partners - capable of meeting technical specifications and proprietary technologies - was not easy.
But we found the rare pearls: workshops and factories located between China and Taiwan (depending on the model of glasses, the materials used, the "phase" of design of the glass).
These partners allow us to achieve optical performance that no other equipment manufacturer in the market will be able to dethrone 🔥

The Frames
Our partner located in China is a reference actor in the manufacture of frames, in particular for equipment manufacturers specialized in professional protection, ballistic protection, and sports glasses.
Our glasses are tested by an independent laboratory(impact resistance, fire resistance, deformation resistance...), and are compliant with CE(ISO12312-1:2013+A1:2015), North America(ANSI Z80.3:2018) and Australia/NZ(AS/NZS 1067.1:2016) standards.
You might as well say that we know all about quality!
Our glasses are made in Asia!
Often synonymous with very poor quality merchandise (and even let's face it, often counterfeit),"made in china" or"made in taiwan" can on the contrary be a sign of quality in the optical industry 😍(as long as you meet certain criteria!).
Nevertheless, we are aware of the environmental and social issues involved 👇👇👇

Social
The factories and workshops with which we collaborate are carefully and frequently audited and comply with internationally recognized standards (notably the SA8000 norm), which guarantee humane and ethical manufacturing practices.
In the optical industry, factories in this area often have high standards that they are proud to showcase.

Environment
Logistics: Our imports are mostly done by boat rather than by plane (we are currently working to favor the train).
Manufacturing: We are in the process of designing new frames using natural and recycled materials. At the same time, our factories respect the ISO 14001 standard.
Donations : We are members of 1% for the planet in order to be able to donate 1% of our sales to French associations that fight daily against the effects of climate change(in particular Terre & Humanisme)
